1. Information We Collect

Account Information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored securely and hashed).

Documents: You upload insurance-related documents (policy schedules, bills, discharge summaries, claim forms) for analysis. These documents contain personal and health information.

Payment Information: Payment is processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card details. We receive a payment confirmation and transaction ID.

Usage Data: We collect basic analytics (pages visited, features used) to improve the Service. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your documents are used solely to perform the claim analysis you requested. We use AI (Claude by Anthropic) to extract and analyze document data. Your documents are sent to the AI service for processing and are not retained by the AI provider after processing.

3. Data Storage & Retention

Document data is processed in real-time and stored temporarily in your browser session. If you create an account, extracted data may be stored in our database (hosted on Supabase, with servers in the Asia-Pacific region) for your convenience. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or documents with third parties except as required to provide the Service (AI processing via Anthropic, payment via Razorpay, hosting via Supabase and Cloudflare). We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted storage, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We handle your health insurance data with the sensitivity it deserves.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can request a copy of your data or deletion of your account by contacting us. If you use the Service without an account, your data exists only in your browser session and is deleted when you close the tab.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management only. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for use by individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
